This was my first day in Tokyo, Japan. Today was Sunday so we went to church. We ran into some missionaries and they said it was General Conference. After that we went to a Japanese Garden by the temple. At the garden they had pretty ponds and cool turtles and fish. Then we went to another park called Shinjuku National Garden and saw Cherry Blossoms and Green House with Koi. The cherry blossoms were just in peak and the koi were huge.
After we wandered around Tokyo and found lunch. They had very good Miso soup. We took a water taxi to where we could walk to the Sensoji Temple. At the temple I did my fortune. I shook a box that had sticks in it and the stick told me what drawer to pull and read my fortune that was in the drawer. Also in the temple I breathed in the incense. They had very big lanterns at the temple. Then we went shopping for cool trinkets right by the temple. After we made our way home we took the subway back to where we could walk to our hotel.
For dinner, we headed to a show called Roppongi Kaguwa. It was kind of crazy but entertaining. All the dancers and the stage moving was entertaining. For dinner I had root pizza, it was pretty good.
