January 19, 2015 (Queenstown, New Zealand)

Today was a high adventure day. We tried to rush out the door togo skydiving but we then called and realized we weren't going because of weather issues. So instead we went down to The Station in Queenstown and got signed up to do the largest bungy swing in the world, the Nevis!

Once we arrived at the bungy lodge we headed out to the drop zone where we would be violently dropped into the swing. Once we were harnessed into the swing the instructor gave us a 3, 2, 1 countdown and as soon as he finished he pressed the release button and we went zooming down the swing at over 50 mph. After we finished Mom urged me into doing New Zealand’s largest bungy jump with 446 feet of drop. Standing up at the Gondola several hundred feet up knowing I was going to jump off of it made me terrified. Once it was my turn to jump they harnessed me up, then helped me wattle over to the platform. The instructor gave me a countdown and as soon as he said 1 I leaped off the platform, arms out, and soared for a couple of seconds while the air was slapping my face. And when that couple of seconds ended the bungy caught me and bounced me a couple times before I swung around onto my rear and was pulled up. After the whole experience I might've been Terrified but once I did it I knew it was worth it.

After the marvelous bungy experience we decided to have some more fun and do the luge track at the top of where the Skyline gondola is. When we arrived at the luge we had to take a small chairlift up to the track. Once we were at the top we had a small briefing on how to control the luge. Once we passed the briefing we were off. Mom won the first time but I won the other two times. It was loads of fun to speed around corners and drops while racing each other.

Once we got home we ordered room service and wrote our blogs.
