March 5, 2015 (Inle Lake, Myanmar)

It was our last full day in Myanmar before flying back to Yangon then to Hanoi Vietnam. We had a morning all to our selves! We first ate breakfast at the buffet then we got on some bikes. Our destination was the Stupa up on the hill but we did stop by the forest Monastery and we also met a monk named Tumpee. Tumpee was an old monk and didn't do much work because of that. We first met him washing off his feet and sandles, then we met him again when he was looking at the Rabbits. He also showed us a classroom with a human skeleton. He showed us the skeleton and told us “USA”! I let Tumpee use my glasses, he checked if they were his right prescription.

The stupas we walked to were kind of similar to normal stupas but these were up on a mountain, In the wilderness. We had to walk all of the way down to our bikes, and on the way we stopped by a sugarcane place where they were making some thing. the thing that they were making was a liquid in a pot and was dark green, bubbly, and was over flowing the pot.

We had little time at the hotel before we got back out on to the water with Mom, Dad, Htat, and our skipper. We ate at the same place, with the cats! I played with the Burmese cats while I was waiting and after our food had come. I pet, picked up, and had some of the cats lay on my lap.

Finished with lunch we boated over to a village that was on land but still had water around it. We were even able to tour a randoms persons house. His house had quite a bit of open space. While we were in there house his wife was hand rolling cigars rolled in a leaf instead of paper. Also in that village met some other lady’s, two kids, and one other toddler. To get there we had to walk right by the garden then across one of the bridges that had a broken plank.

Our last stop of the day was the hot spring. The hot spring wasn't totally what I expected, actually nicer then expected. They were kind of like hot tubs but around 4 of them and a few of them are pretty hot.

At the hotel we ate dinner and I pet the cats for the last time.
