September 18, 2014 (Cape Town, South Africa)

The first activity on our list today is Cape Point and Cape Of Good Hope. My favorite activity today was Cape Point. It was fantastic! After a 10 minute hike to the top of a cliff there was a lighthouse and a beautiful view. On top there was water on all sides of the peninsula and HOWLING winds by the lighthouse. On the way up and down we saw BABOONS! Me and mom saw a man taking selfies with one of them, that same Baboon walked into the bushes and hissed, it scared the living daylights out of us! Also on the way down we saw a mother baboon and her baby.

Our next stop was Cape Of Good Hope. Cape Of Good Hope wasn't quite as exiting as Cape Point but still very cool. It was originally named the Cape of Storms, and then later it was named Cape of Good Hope. At Cape Of Good Hope the big blue ocean would crash into the big rocks close to the shore line!

We went to a local lunch spot, Boulders. The food was pretty good especially the cheese bread! After lunch we went to Boulders Beach, which is still part of Table Mountain National Park. Boulders beach was strictly reserved for penguins only! At the beach we got to see only one kind of penguin the African penguin. The other types of penguins that are not in Africa are the Emperor, Rockhopper, and the Chinstrap penguins. At the beach we were able to see them "tan", molt, waddle, swim, climb, clean, sleep, and fall on the sand. Today was a great experience to see wildlife and natural land marks.
