When I woke up we were still on the plane, even though I woke up several times. When we were finally in Egypt we had someone meet us at the gate. He is a local Egyptian from Cairo. After we collected our bags we got in the van to go to our hotel. On the ride over he told us about some of the facts and history about Egypt. Also on the way over we passed over the Nile river, the longest river in the world, running south to north. We were staying at the Marriott next door to the rive. It used to be a palace before they bought it. When we got there we settled in and got some breakfast. Breakfast was great! They even had omelets. Later we checked out the rest of the hotel. The hotel is huge! There are lots of places to eat.
We had lunch outside, it was great too. I had a chicken Caesar wrap. Back at the room I took a 3 hour nap then relaxed. Shortly after we went to dinner at the Japanese restaurant. It was also so amazing. Later we waited for the rest of our family to come in the lobby. I was so happy to see them! It was so fun! We then accompanied them at dinner. We talked all about our trip. Later when we were at the hotel we showed them some more pictures and videos from our trip and gave them gifts we had bought them in Tanzania. We settled in and went to bed.
