October 28, 2014 (Moshi, Tanzania)

Today was amazing. Breakfast was good. I had Nutela french toast. Right after we hopped in the van and went to a local market. At the local market basically all the people were selling bananas. Literally there were  1000's of banana's! We did occasionally see hay and chickens.

The coffee plantation was very interesting, we were able to make our own coffee even though I didn't have any. The steps of it were: 1. getting the beans 2. peeling the shells off the beans 3. sifting the beans 4. cooking the beans 5. pounding the beans 6. sifting the powder 7. mixing the powder with hot water. We then got a tour of a Chaggas (tribe) home and tunnels. For lunch there was: PB&J, hot dog, 1 egg, juice, and a veggie roll.

When we got to the place where we were doing the water fall hike was amazing. It was so very green and hedged at the begging. It was a short but steep hike! When we were at the bottom we had to hop from rock to rock and go in the water for 1 part. When we finally got to the water fall it was amazing. It is lush green with a big fall coming right from the middle. On the way up was definitely worse then going down. I also went swimming in a pool below the waterfall. It felt great.

Shortly after we had dinner. Dinner was good but lots of meat! After dinner we played cards for a while with Sammi, Jenna, and Yvette. It was so much fun! We played the longest game of I Doubt It. After we then did our blog, relaxed then went to bed.
