November 5, 2014 (Nile Cruise, Egypt)

Today was great but we didn't do much touring. We were able to sleep in until 7:00, it felt better. Our first activity was going to the Edfu temple. We went there by horse snd carriage, all five of us! It was so fun. We fit 3 in the back where the passengers were supposed to be, and 2 up front, where the driver was. The temple was very cool but it wasn't quite as old as the temples in Luxor. This was only 2000 + years old, not 3500 years old. In my opinion I thought the best part were the walls on the outside covered in Pictographs. Our guide Hany told us the Greeks came and helped with some of the architecture.

Back at the boat we did whatever we wanted until lunch. After lunch I went up to the Sundeck and played some cards. shortly after I jumped in the freezing cold pool, and watched the boat pass through the bridge. After I did my math for an hour. It went very well. We then did another short tour, but this time it was at the Kom Ombo temple. It was interesting we were even able to see mummified Crocodiles and how they wrapped them.

Dinner was so fun. The theme was to dress up in traditional Egyptian wear. I wore an Egyptian dress kind of thing for men with a piece of cloth and ring on my head. Later there was a dance. I only went for a little, I was exhausted! Back at the room we settled in and went to bed.
