June 19, 2014 (Wroclaw, Poland)

I only had three and a half hours of sleep! I woke up at 4:00 a.m.! We had a flight to catch to Wroclaw, Poland! I was so exhausted on the plane so I slept for more than half of it. It was  the cheapest plane both Mom and I had ever been on. It was Ryan Air! inside there was no magazines or pockets and safety briefing card was on the seat in front of you stuck onto the persons head rest and the seats didn't recline. The bright yellow plastic and blue seating gave a crazy vibe, but it was a cheap priced flight. We arrived at our nice hotel at around 10:45 a.m. At the hotel we couldn't get a meal because it was an in-between time of breakfast and lunch. We ordered room service I ordered three crepes while Mom had a salad. A little later I took a nap in a soft bed for an hour and a half, and when I woke up Kendall my sister was sitting on the bed near me. As soon as I woke up I gave her a big hug!

The reason we are in Poland is because Kendall had served her mission here for a year and one half!  When I was woken up we all walked around Wroclaw. We ate some tasty snacks and treats that Kendall recommended. One sweet that was like a spiral of bread with cinnamon sugar on the outside. We bought our snacks at a market of huts that happens twice a year for a couple of weeks, we were lucky enough to have the market happen during the time while we were in Wroclaw. During our walk about we also saw where the LDS church was that my sister worked for during her mission. The church was in a building full of other things. But inside the doors was around five rooms, one of which was the chapel that had good windows unlike our chapel at home that has no windows. On the walk we saw Kendall’s mission apartment. She told us a story of her neighbor who was 90 and kind of crazy. Kendall lived in a pink apartment building that looked Ghetto and had a green balcony. It was cool to see where Kendall had served and lived.

Later that night we met up with one of Kendall’s friends, Tamara who she met and taught on her mission. We had a had some great pasta for dinner then after we had some delicious gelato. The gelato shop had 56 flavors of gelato! One of the flavors I had was not Nutella but Nutella Banana! Tamara was interesting she was from another country near by Azerbaijan. When we walked back to our hotel there was a very unique cool sunset behind a building. back at the hotel I called Dad while Mom crashed in bed.
