May 31, 2015 (Paris to Berlin, Germany)

I woke up at 7:30 in the morning and said my last goodbyes to Dad before he left for a month. After that I was able to sleep for around another two hours before having to wake up and get ready for church since it was Sunday morning. The church in Paris was a full ward. Some of the people there were visitors coming mainly from the U.S.A. Actually, it was Mothers Day in France so all of the speakers that day were speaking about Moms. We were able to listen to talks in English through the speakers in the overflow room. I am glad I could go to church. There were friendly and nice people there who were active and kind.

After church we tried taking Uber to our hotel but the driver spoke very little English. When we got a taxi we took it to our hotel, got our stuff, and checked out. The taxi picked us up and we had him drive up the Champs Elysees and around the Arc de Triomphe which is where the Tour France finishes, then off to the airport to fly to Berlin, Germany. Checked into Berlin Air we walked to our gate and waited while catching up on our blogs until we were ready to board.

Berlin! We were picked up by the hotel in a car that I thought was awesome. At the hotel Mom and I were amazed how great the wifi was!  It was better than the wifi in our house. Finally Mom could upload photos! The hotel was very friendly and had great service! For the rest of the night we stayed in the hotel and ordered room service. We regrouped and had a nights sleep in a nice soft bed!
