Today was Sunday, we were attending church. The LDS church we had visited yesterday we were attending today. Church was only two meetings today (around two hours). The church had around 30 members and there were also a couple pairs of missionaries, Elders and Sisters. Kendall bore her testimony in Polish same with another girl because they had both been missionaries in Wroclaw. I really liked the chapel because it had lots of natural light.
After church we ate lunch with one of the members Agneishka and her son Daniel at a crepe restaurant. My crepe was gross! It was STUFFED with cheese! We taught Daniel and Agneishka some card games. Right after lunch we visited another persons home who Kendall knew from her mission, Barbara. The woman was a painter and does all of her painting in her apartment. She was nice and friendly, we even bought a painting that Kendall has loved ever since her mission. It is called "Joy."
We later walked back to the hotel and called Dad on Fathers Day!!! We wished him a Happy Father's Day and I could talk to him about motor bikes.
We collected our bags from the hotel then took a taxi to the train station. We sadly departed from Kendall, but we would meet up with her again the next day in Krakow. On the train ride to Krakow we met a couple Polish people who spoke nice English. We talked to them about all sorts of things. One-man owned a local news paper and he wanted my blog in his paper! We told that same man that we were from Utah and he guessed we were Mormons, he has a Book of Mormon! The older man was interesting. He actually had been a political prisoner in the 1980s here in Poland for 1 year and 4 months. Off of the train a young fit Polish student showed us part of the way to our hotel. He was very smart and taught us a lot about Polish history.
We found our hotel, it was right on the Main Square. Our room was spacious, had an old style but was nice. That night we walked around the old town of Krakow and also in the big square where there was activity going on. The square had a couple Cathedrals, around it, one in particular was extra cool, St Mary's Basilica. The square was the touristy place to be at night. We ate dinner at a Pizzeria outside under some heat lamps, it was crazy how it heated stuff up so hot!
Back at the hotel room we both did some blogage and fell asleep before our day at Auschwitz tomorrow.
