February 17, 2015

The day began by first eating breakfast then permanently leaving the “SWEET AZALEA”! On the road to San Juan we had a great sightseeing road that was windy and was on the side of a mountain. Along the way we stopped by where Riley, while on his mission, was driving and fell asleep, and flipped the car they were driving! We had him and Riley get out so we could take a picture of them in that spot.

Once we arrived in the big city we found a parking spot near the restaurant and walked over to Manginasal. Manginasal is a filipino styled restaurant, and part of what makes them them is there unlimited rice. Riley told me that on his mission the missionaries had competitions of rice eating and a Polynesian man ate 18 or something scoops!

In San Juan we passed our hotel and decided to look at the AWESOME hotel instead because the Kahuna hotel wasn't looking all that. When we arrived at the hotel it didn't show that it was that awesome so we headed back to the beach resort, Kahuna. At the hotel I dropped my bags in the room and slid on the hand rail into the pool. After playing some basketball in the pool Mom convinced me togo surfing. The surf was small but I could still catch the waves by myself.

Back at the resort I listened and read my book then walked back to the room before eating dinner. Finished with some rocky road ice cream we walked back to the room and did some of our blogs before going asleep. We had a nice time at the beach this afternoon.
