February 8, 2015 (Bali, Indonesia)

Today was Sunday which meant going to church. This church was hard to find but luckily our driver Made knew where it was. It was in a hotel in some conference room with no one there. It didn't look too much like a church meeting room partly because no one was there and usually missionaries or the Bishop is there 30 mins before. Several minutes before it started the Branch President showed up with a suitcase full of supplies. We helped set up and another several minutes started. There were only 10 people in the Branch, all from Indonesia except one lady from Australia. Mom said the opening and prayer and they asked her to give a talk #multitask. I passed the sacrament and answered some of the questions from the teachers during Sunday School. It is good that the members come to church each Sunday, the only LDS Church in Bali.

Back at Hotel Togu, we switched rooms AGAIN to a room with better air conditioning. Later we borrowed a couple of bikes and rode to Deus, a restaurant that our friend Diane had recommended because she lived in Bali. The meal was goooood. I loved the banana peanut butter smoothie they had. After lunch we biked to Echo Beach where we will be surfing tomorrow. At Echo Beach mom bought some necklaces and we saw some homemade 2 stroke motor vehicles. Trying to beat the storm home we hustled back to Hotel Tugu and jumped into the deep pool. But then we had to get out before we got struck by lightening. Soon after we had our welcome to Hotel Tugu massage. My first massage was different than expected but good.
