We were leaving Philippines and flying to Thailand! We left our room bright and early with it even still dark out. We had to leave the same way we came by taking a boat and also driving, because there is no other way to get to the other island besides a helicopter.
In the airport we were scheduled on Philippine Airlines flight and Philippine Airlines was late because the plane hadn't landed (FAL (Filipino Airlines) flight always late). Right before the earlier flight boarded a women from PAL got us tickets on the earlier flight. They were not killer seats because they were the very last row on the plane but they'd work.
At the Manila airport we had to change terminals to get to our flight to Bangkok on Thai Air. We took the airport bus over to the other terminal. It was the randomest transfer to a terminal I had ever seen. We rode among the runway, a plane graveyard, and even on a big public road doing a three point turn through the road.
We waited for the checkin counter to open for around 30 minutes, we were the first ones to checkin and when we were finished there was a HUGE line behind us!
When we were finished with security we entered the lounge and sat down there for a while doing our blog and eating some food. On the plane we took around a 3 hour plane flight to Bangkok where we met my sister Kendall to see around northern Thailand!
We met Kendall in Bangkok and talked before we took one more flight to Chang Rai, northern Thailand. In Chang Rai we were met by our tour guide Wanna. Wanna is going to be our tour guide all throughout northern Thailand. Wanna and the driver, A took us straight to our hotel, The Legend.
At The Legend we were taken to our room then we walked over to dinner. I only sat at dinner for a little since I wasn't feeling good. Back at the room I fell asleep within a couple minutes.
