October 11, 2014 (Botswana to South Africa)

Another early wake up call at 5:30. Today we were leaving the Kanana camp. We had a great time there, meeting new people, and exploring the Okavango Delta. But before we left we went fishing for one last time with Ona. But today I didn't catch as much, I only caught 1 tilapia, but Mom caught 1 Catfish and 1 tilapia. When we were coming and going to where we would fish we saw a dead antelope attacked by a crocodile, a dead hippo floating, and we hit a crocodile with the engine while we were in the water! Riding back i was able to drive the boat through the Delta for a solid 25 minutes. After we caught the fish we went and tossed our fish to the fish eagle! 

After our fishing and feeding we had around a hour to get ready to go to Maun, Botswana, then to Johannesburg. When we were ready we took the Land Cruiser to the airport where we would take a small bush plane to Maun. When we got to Maun we went and checked-in, but there was a long line, luckily we had someone helping us so we got to sit down. after a little we checked on him, he was in the wrong line! And the line we actually had to be in was longer! Mom thought we were going to miss our flight. When we got to the front of the line it only got worse! She told us that they might not be able to take our bags because there is not enough room on the plane even though we told her that we are going to the Seychelles and there is not another flight for 4 days! Anyways we got on to the flight and everything went smoothly until we were picking up our bags from the baggage claim and they weren't there! So then we made our way to the airport offices with a group of other people. Luckily when we were up there we saw our bags! Instead of putting the bags on the Air Botswana flight they put them on the Air Link flight to Johannesburg. After all that we had Jack, our previous driver take us to our hotel, 54 On Bath. We were glad to be back in a nice hotel room with AIR CONDITIONING! Later that night we were so tired we decided just to order room service. It was delicious, I had a grilled cheese with tomato soup on white bread. after dinner we chilled then went to bed.
