Mom woke me up way early. She told me that there was elephant outside! I was half asleep and did not what to get out of the bed. When I truly woke up Mom told me all about how I missed seeing the elephants, I admit I was kind of sad I missed it. But breakfast was good, my favorite part of it were the raspberry's! Today we were going to lake Manyara, but first we were going to a Maasai village then we are doing a game drive in the Crater. The village was very cool to see. We saw their cattle, their huts, and was able to see them jump, sing, and dance. When we were there we also bought a little hand carved wooden elephant. After the village tour we went down to the crater and did our game drive. We saw lots of animals. Part of the reason was there were almost no trees or bushes to hide in. On that one game drive we saw 4 of the big 5: buffalo, elephant, lion, and rhino. The only one we were missing was the Leopard. But I did see some new things. We saw Jackal, and Hyena. We also were able to see a big old lion eat a buffalo!
