October 14, 2014 (La Digue, Seychelles)

When I woke up we went to breakfast and I had an omlet, toast, and fruit. After breakfast we caught a bus where we would ride a ferry to La Digue. La Digue is a lot smaller than Praslin but is more of a touristy place. But Praslin is more local. At La Digue we rented bikes to go tour the island. Even though they were bad bikes they were good enough. Our first destination was the beach, it was very beautiful! The water was bright blue and warm. Shortly after we went to this park where they had Giant Tortoises! Some of the big tortoises were about 3 1/2 feet in diameter. When we were with the tortoises I was able to feed some of them.

Later when we were still riding bikes I heard what sounded like an elephant, we kept riding and eventually saw what was making all of that noise. there was a big herd of pigs in their stables getting washed by a hose. But some weren't in their stables, they were walking and licking the floor to try to find food.

We later stopped by a restaurant named Orchid. It had all that I was missing:  pizza, milkshakes, and chocolate crepes. I just had pizza and a fruit mocktail. We kept riding our bikes and scavenging for new beaches to swim at. After some steep  hills on our crapy bikes we found some beaches. We then pedaled back from the bike rental and went straight to the ferry where we would be picked up to go back to "Le Relax Beach Resort".

We went to Le Chateau de Feuilles for dinner. But before we got there we had a little adventure getting over there but this time we had a slight upgrade rather than a Mini Moke we had a little Kia that was almost as bad as the Moke. After going on sketchy local roads, up very steep hills, and without street lights to light up the road, we made it to the restaurant. Dinner though was great! We had shrimp tempura, then thinly sliced green mango, next crab, and for dessert we had this egg kind of cake, which I didn't like. It was so much food. On our way back from Le Chateau de Feuilles we saw this thing that looked like a pig mixed with an aneater. later that night we finished up our blog and went to bed.
