October 27, 2014 (Moshi, Tanzania)

Today we were going back to school. When I woke up we went straight to breakfast. I had a banana Nutella crepe. It was nice. We then hopped in the van with no one else for a change, since the other group of people that were here before recently left. When we got to the school we greeted our kids then went straight to work. Today we were repeating our bingo lesson but adding duck duck goose into it. We first did the bingo song, then the actual bingo, after, we did the duck duck goose to the bingo song. Today went better than the other time we did it but still a little hard. After school was over we had some of the kids and the teachers join us in singing Happy Birthday to Sydney. I hope she likes our birthday song.

When we left school it was so hot so we stopped at one of the local tuck shops and got some cold sodas. When we were home we had lunch.

In the afternoon our activity was Batik. Batik is a curtain type of african art which people do tons of. It was really fun, I did a giraffe. The steps were: 1. sketch 2. background 3. wax 4. paint 5. de wax 6. iron 7. touch ups 8. iron. After it was almost time for dinner. Yvette did two trees and my mom did a palm tree with Kili in the background. After dinner we did our blog then went to bed.
