Today was great! For breakfast we had the scones, which they also made us the first morning we were at CCS. They were delicious.
School went pretty well. We taught them about the months of the year and the order of them. We first went over the months, showed them the song Mom made up, showed them the gestures while puppeting them, and reviewed the other songs. We then played with the kids that were staying all day.
After lunch we went on a walkabout through the neighborhood. On our walk we were able to go into people's houses, it was interesting to meet and see there culture. Each place we went to we gave them a bag of sugar. When we greeted them we would say "shikimu" or "shikimu bebe"(hello) or (hello grandma).
After our tour I took a shower. I was gross from being in the dirt and sun all day. While I was in the middle of the shower Mom calls me to quickly get out of the shower to go to the next activity. I didn't go to the activity, which was just going into town. When they got back Mom, David, and I played frisbee outback. We were super glad that he played with us because he is a shy guy. It was lots fun! For dinner we had pizza! It was definitely the best pizza in Tanzania. Later we played cards. It was so funny. We played I Doubt It, Hearts, and Bamboozle. Later we did our blog and went to bed.
